Stretch marks occur when the skin is rapidly stretched, for example during growth, pregnancy, or changes in weight. They correspond to an alteration of the collagen and elastin fibers in the dermis.

Today, several technologies make it possible to progressively improve their appearance by stimulating the natural regeneration of the skin. Treatments are based primarily on the use of fractional and radiofrequency lasers, which act in depth to boost collagen production.

At the Skinpulse Center, various technologies are used in order to adapt the treatment to the type of stretch marks and the quality of the skin.

1340nm Nd:YAP laser

The system ProDeep™ — Ethereum Platform (Vydence) Use a 1340nm Nd:YAP laser which acts deep in the dermis.

This technology generates controlled thermal stimulation that activates fibroblasts responsible for collagen production. Over time, this stimulation contributes to improving skin texture and the appearance of stretch marks.

The Nd:YAP laser is particularly used for recent or established stretch marks, on various areas of the body.

Nanofractionated radiofrequency

technology Viva™ — Venus Concept is based on a Nanofractional™ radio frequency which delivers thermal energy into the skin through micro-dots.

This stimulation causes a natural skin repair process and promotes the production of new collagen. The skin gradually becomes denser and more homogeneous.

Radiofrequency can be used alone or combined with other technologies as required.

A gradual improvement in the skin

Stretch marks do not usually disappear completely, but these technologies can improve their appearance:

  • improving skin texture
  • reduced contrast between the stretch mark and the surrounding skin
  • firmer and more homogeneous skin

The protocol may require several sessions in order to obtain a gradual and lasting result.

A prior consultation allows you to determine which technology is best suited to your skin.
